About Me

I anchored my NAIA Baseball World Series special in May 2023.

I did a post-game interview featuring a pitcher and his thoughts on his performance.

I worked the Washington State football game versus Colorado. I went live from Gesa Field to report on their senior day.

I ran the camera for every single LC State game during the NAIA World Series.

I attended an LC State College Basketball game, where they presented the WAA high school awards. It was an awards show that ran all week long.

Sports Experience

Within weeks after my graduation, I joined the Arroyo Seco Saints as a journalism intern for their summer baseball league. I traveled with the team based out of Pasadena, CA, and it fueled my passion for reporting.  My favorite feature story was the newly created “270 ft. with a Saint,” where I took a walk around the bases with the players. It uncovered some amazing stories that we might not have known about the players on the field.

Working as the Graduate sports intern with the Pac-12 Network, it was truly a full-circle experience. The Pac-12 offered a complete rotation of Programming, Partnership Development, and Sales. I’ve assisted with social media analytics, recap decks, research projects, game clipping, and the strategic Basketball scheduling process.

In June of 2022, I moved to Lewiston, Idaho where I’m currently the Sports Director, Anchor, and Reporter at KLEW TV. I am a multimedia journalist, where I write, shoot, edit, and create my own content. I cover the Washington State Cougars, the Idaho Vandals, the Lewis Clark State Warriors, and all the local high schools around the LC Valley. I’ve had some memorable experiences at KLEW TV, including covering March Madness, the NAIA World Series, and the Apple Cup.

University of Utah

As a first-year student at the University of Utah, I jumped at the opportunity to be a sportswriter for the Daily Utah Chronicle. I covered a variety of sports including Swimming & Diving, Skiing, Lacrosse, Women’s Basketball, and Spring Football.

In my second year, I gained hands-on video production experience, from running cameras to on-camera interviews starting with Women’s Soccer and Softball. On-Camera led to “On Air” my junior year when I co-hosted the K-UTE radio show “All Things Sports.” We bantered through season matchups, football analysis, and local sports.

In my senior year, I became the Executive Director for a local feature show called “Short Sports.” Two of the “Beyond the U” episodes featured LA Rams Safety Terrell Burgess and Silver Olympic Medalist Mykayla Skinner. Both episodes reached thousands of viewers and broke the record for highest viewed episodes in the history of Utah Student Media. The show won awards for “Best Episode” and “Best Host.”

Bay Area Native

What fueled my passion for sports in the first place? Growing up just 32 miles East of San Francisco, Bay Area sports became an integral part of my life. Saturdays were spent attending Stanford football games and watching all the Pac-12 teams come through town. During the summers, it was almost routine to attend San Francisco Giants games. I loved playing sports just as much as I loved watching and talking about them. I was a competitive swimmer and softball pitcher for 6 years until a back injury sidelined me in high school.

Early on, I enjoyed talking about “play calls” and breaking down games.  In the 5th grade, I remember coming home from watching “The Big Game” in which Stanford lost to Cal. My Mom encouraged me to make a video and talk about how they lost. It was that very moment when I knew I was passionate about sports and storytelling.
